About the role:
As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking a Director of Shared Services to join our dynamic leadership team.The Director will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight across all shared service functions — including Human Resources, Procurement, Facilities Management, and Government Relations. This role ensures operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and alignment of these core functions with Tharwah’s business objectives and growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement strategic plans for all shared service functions.
- Establish and monitor KPIs to ensure operational efficiency and service quality.
- Oversee departmental budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation.
- Provide executive-level reporting and insights on operational effectiveness.
- Foster collaboration and strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Human Resources Management
- Oversee the company’s HR strategy, including talent acquisition, development, and retention.
- Ensure effective performance management, compensation, and engagement programs.
- Maintain compliance with labor laws and employment regulations.
- Guide employee relations, organizational development, and training initiatives.
Procurement
- Lead the organization’s procurement strategy and supplier management framework.
- Oversee contract negotiations, vendor selection, and procurement policy development.
- Ensure cost-effective and transparent purchasing practices.
- Manage supply chain risk and optimize procurement efficiency.
Facilities Management
- Oversee all aspects of facility operations, maintenance, safety, and security.
- Lead space planning, workplace optimization, and renovation projects.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Manage external facility service providers and contracts.
Government Relations
- Lead engagement and coordination with government entities and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure compliance with all governmental and legal requirements.
- Maintain strong relationships with public sector partners and officials.
- Monitor and interpret regulatory and legislative developments affecting the company.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in business administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive management experience across shared service functions.
- Proven expertise in HR, Procurement, Facilities, and Government Relations.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and public-sector engagement.
- Demonstrated success in budget management and stakeholder alignment.
