About the role:

We are looking for a Finance Director that will play a pivotal role in driving Tharwah’s financial strategy and operational excellence. This role oversees all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, investment planning, and financial compliance — ensuring the company’s continued growth and success post-IPO.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management

• Ensure financial accuracy, transparency, and compliance with accounting standards and local regulations.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and long-term forecasting to align with corporate goals.
• Oversee cash flow, capital expenditure, and operational budgets to ensure liquidity and efficiency.
• Manage banking facilities and financing strategies to support growth and expansion.

Investment & Financing

• Develop and manage investment strategies to maximize portfolio performance.
• Oversee financing arrangements, including bank loans and investment partnerships.
• Evaluate potential investment opportunities and provide strategic recommendations.

Strategic Financial Leadership

• Provide data-driven insights and strategic guidance to executive management.
• Conduct financial feasibility studies and comparative performance analyses.
• Support M&A initiatives, IPO readiness, and post-listing compliance.

Risk Management & Compliance

• Identify and assess financial risks, proposing mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and internal controls.

Reporting & Performance Analysis

• Lead timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Develop dashboards and reports tracking key financial and operational KPIs.
• Present financial performance reviews and improvement recommendations to leadership.

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure operational excellence.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including leadership in a publicly listed or IPO-stage company.
• Strong understanding of IPO processes, regulatory requirements, and post-listing financial governance.
• Proven experience in financial planning, investment management, M&A, and bank relations.
• Deep expertise in business planning, forecasting, and risk management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CFA are a plus.
