Business Development Manager
We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager for our client which is a leading developer and operator in Saudi Arabia's dynamic energy sector. With a strong foundation in delivering Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracts within oil and gas, our client is now expanding to drive growth across the full spectrum of energy, including renewables.
About the role:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and contributing to the overall growth and success of the company. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills who can drive business development initiatives and achieve sales targets.
You will:
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Identify and generate leads through various channels, including networking, referrals, and online research.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business growth objectives and sales targets.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and contracts to prospective clients.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of business agreements, ensuring mutual satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of business development strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress reports, providing regular updates to the Business Development Manager.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the company's services and expand the client base.
- Explore, identify, and secure new EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) and PPP (Public-Private Partnership) projects and business opportunities.
- Be responsible for Client Acquisition: Find new clients in line with the above focus areas, targeting key projects and organizations such as Qidiyah, Dariya, Murabaa, NCP, and others based in Riyadh.
You have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the relevant industry (oil and gas).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
